Aura began quietly — a handful of homes, and one designer who noticed things other people walked past. Nahar Rahman has spent her career watching how light falls across a room at 4pm, how a hallway can rush you or slow you down, how the right corner can turn a house into somewhere you actually want to be. Aura is what happens when that attention becomes a practice.

"I never set out to build a studio. I set out to make rooms that felt like exhaling. The studio came after — because it turns out other people were looking for the same thing."
Over the years, that instinct has carried Aura from single residences into restaurants, offices, boutiques, and wellness spaces — each one a chance to ask the same question again: what does this place need to feel like, for the people who'll actually live inside it?
A space is right when it feels inevitable — never when it merely photographs well.
Every material, every line, is chosen for the years of ordinary life it will hold.
We design from the client outward, never from a template inward.
